It’s that time of year when we take time to connect with family & friends and enjoy the holiday season together.
As a Realtor in Ottawa for more than 30 years, it’s also a time when I go through the names in my “Rolodex” (OK, I’m dating myself) and think of how thankful I am for the many clients who have placed their trust in me over the past three decades to help them buy or sell a property.
It’s incredible how the time flies! While I continue to work with clients who are new to our city, in the past few years I’ve run into some clients I assisted near the beginning of my career. I always love to hear about the memories they cherish in the homes we found together so many years ago, and it’s one of the reasons I still love what I do.
Some of you know that my other passion besides Real Estate is Equestrian Show Jumping. It brings me great satisfaction to find just the right new property for a client. But after long hours at work, I love to escape to my “expensive gym membership,” as my very patient other half, Bill, calls it) to enjoy both exercise and focusing on competitions in Canada and the U.S. My life is balanced and also very full, but it keeps me feeling young and excited about my work.
Thanks to my clients and contacts, we at Nancy Benson & Associates consistently rank among the top small teams in the RE/MAX Hallmark network across Ontario. After many years I still feel that same thrill I felt early in my career when I find a great property for a buyer or I can tell a seller we’ve found a buyer for their home. It makes the long hours worthwhile.
My team, whom many of you have met if you’ve worked with me recently, are a great group. We all work hard to ensure the details are covered & that everyone enjoys what they do here at Nancy Benson & Associates (under the umbrella of Remax Hallmark Realty Group).
In 2020, I would love to get back in touch with past clients like you. I sometimes hear from clients I haven’t connected with in years, thanks to the ease of e-mails and social media, and it’s always great to catch up. I invite you to follow us on social media, or to subscribe to our regular blogs through my website, at nancybenson.com.
If we haven’t connected in a while, it’s possible we don’t have your updated contact information. If you’d like to keep in touch, you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or give me a call at 613-747-4747 to let me know what you’ve been up to. It would be great to hear from you.
Enjoy this festive season, and I do hope that we re-connect in 2020.
All the best, cheers!
